In Memory of Roxie...Standard Schnauzer

It's very difficult to say good-bye to a loved pet.  Roxie, thirteen year old schnauzer, had been suffering with heart disease issues for the last few weeks.  It came to a head today.  She was put to sleep early this morning, the 4th of July, 2012, at Dove Lewis,  a local animal hospital here in Portland.    In her memory:

Oh, how sad it made me feel to hear about Roxie. I love schnauzers. I have a little girl and I had a little boy that was put to sleep last November. If you have a schnauzer, you have a connection with every one you see. At least I do. As time passes, it gets easier to accept their passing, but, of course, you never forget them. Thank you for sharing her with us!

So sorry for your loss, Greg. It is so difficult when you lose a pet. She looks like she was quite a character.
