Gleaning at the City Dump #30

One of my discoveries this past weekend was this vintage wooden commode.  I’m not exactly sure how “vintage” it is, but it was quite interesting, very well constructed, and certainly worthy of a closer look.   I didn’t take it for myself, but I talked one of the other gleaners (someone who works for St. Vincent de Paul) into taking it back to his trailer to eventually be sold in one of their thrift shops.  It just could end up as a nice little conversation piece in someone’s living room (but not mine).
