Even though there are five artists involved in this grant of gleaning for art materials at the city dump, we generally don't run into each other while working in the bay. It's truly a NICE surprise when someone else does show up which happened this past Friday morning. Sarah and I were able to dig together for three hours for things that we could use in our creations. She had found her motherlode just as I was entering the bay area...a large bag of crocheted (knitted?) items. We've been helping her to collect these kinds of items for the past weeks, but this was a huge find with all of these pieces soon to be finding there way into one of her "soft sculptures." I'm eager to see the finished piece in Sept.

Another comment: I like Roxie! I have a schaunzer too. I've heard that Shaunzer;s are called the "talking dogs", and yours is a perfect example. It seems she is really trying to get a point across. My girl doesn't try to talk very much. She just barks her wants and wishes. Melody
