For the last five months, this season's "glean artists" have been creating art from the mountains of trash they've found at the Metro Transfer Station (the city dump). I was a member of this "Glean Dream Team" three years ago, and continue to follow the artists who have been chosen for this residency each year. I was finally able to see the show today and took a few photos. There was some exceptional work this year...all materials used having come directly from the city dump!
