I asked to take a few photos of some of this year's boxes...there were a few of them that were real standouts, some of the others-not so much. Have a look:
Boys Fort, an artisan type store in downtown Portland, is having their second annual Box Show, running through the end of this week. I just happened to wander in at noon today while in the area, and discovered the show, which consists of the work of some forty local artists. The boxes were apparently auctioned off last week (what a great way to get people into your store!). I was not aware of this show-didn't have anything included, etc., but hope to be a part of it all next year (yes, I did have a quick talk with the manager). I asked to take a few photos of some of this year's boxes...there were a few of them that were real standouts, some of the others-not so much. Have a look: Boys Fort is located at 902 SW Morrison (corner of 9th and Morrison) in downtown Portland.
