Newest work added February 8, 2014 Newest work added January 12, 2014 I've noticed that because of the limitation of size of this new assemblage series (each piece being constructed in a small cardboard box...5 x 4 x 1 "), there are some unique problem solving challenges to always address. By the way, these cardboard boxes are the kind that cheap jewelry might come in (with the piece of white cotton inside)...I got a huge case of these at some yard sale a few years ago, and am just now putting them to use. They are remarkably sturdy especially after I've "worked" them with glue, papers, objects and glass. Newest work added-January 3, 2014 January 1, 2014 Happy 2014 ! I'm celebrating the new year with some new assemblage work. I've been concentrating on smaller pieces, all of them constructed in small cardboard boxes approximately 5 x 4 x 1 inch. I've been combining my collection of vintage photos with the other kinds of "objects" that I've been gathering for various projects-much of the detritus still coming from my art residency a couple summers ago while working at the city dump. As usual, I've again been using glass to cover (and enshrine) each of my pieces. As is always the case, the glass adds a dimension of difficulty when it comes time to photograph each piece. Here are a few of the new pieces...I'll continue to add to this collection as I get more work completed and photographed:

These are delightful, Greg. I especially like the use of new background papers, the various parts of the piano, too. Happy New Year!

Thanks Kathie...yes, I still have lots of piano parts and pieces, but not really sure how to even use all of them yet.

Hi Greg. Love your work! You're a real inspiration to me but I must tell you my wife thinks I'm crazy. Just retired and looking forward to getting years of ideas into little frames and boxes. Thanks again for the inspiration and look forward to your work in 2014!
